What Is SNL? Saturday Night Live

Saturday Night Live (SNL) - a late night show (chat) where beginners and experts alike create our own digital scrapbook elements from paper to word art.

Once a month, colors and an inspiration or theme will be provided. Each person creates parts of a kit each week following the posted schedule. You may post your creations as a teaser in the gallery. On or before the deadline, the Zipped creations are uploaded to the SNL webpage.  You will upload your files starting on the given date and after you have uploaded you may download the files from the other contributors. Then you can create a layout using the bits and pieces you choose and post it to the gallery. The next month starts with new colors and inspiration/theme.

Week 4: Layouts

Week 5: Make Ploppers using what we have created this month (if there are 5 weeks in that month).

You are free to deviate from this schedule and make the whole thing in Week 1 or wait until the last minute and make all of it the last day.

Every third week is a learning chat. We have scheduled several in advance, such as frames, torn paper, ribbons/fibers. We have also been known to share techniques in other chats. Feel free to share your favorite technique or just make use of ours.
